The Collider Cup is SCET's all-star showcase of the best student teams each semester. Come watch teams pitch to panels of professors, investors and industry experts as they vie to win the grand prize, the Collider Cup!
Every semester we partner with an investment fund/angel investors who offer our students an opportunity for potential funding of their startup/student venture.
We also preview SCET's classes for the next semester and provide more information on our Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology. Students can learn more about our classes and on how to become involved at SCET and our programs.

Collider Cup Alumni Expo
Calling all SCET Student Alumni to win a chance to Pear VC's early stage BootCamp! This semester for the first time, SCET will be having an SCET student alumni expo prior to the start of the Collider Cup. At least one team member needs to have taken one SCET course prior to Spring 2024. Any student who has taken an SCET course is eligible to participate.
- Who: SCET Student Alumni who have completed at least 1 SCET course prior to Spring 2024
- What: Showcase your start-up venture at the expo to students, administrators, instructors and industry guests. Attendees will cast their vote for the best SCET alumni team.
- When: Prior to the Collider Cup on May 3rd 2 p.m. where they will be able to highlight their venture to Collider Cup attendees.
- How: Applications are closed for Spring 2024.
- Prize: The winning team, announced at the end of the Collider Cup, will be invited for an interview with Pear VC for a chance to be admitted to their early stage bootcamp.

When and Where
The Spring 2024 Collider Cup will take place on Friday, May 3rd from 2:30PM to 6:00PM PDT at Banatao Auditorium in Sutardja Dai Hall.

About At Large Bid
Every semester the first-place student venture team from each of SCET's courses is automatically entered into the Collider Cup competition. At the At Large Bid, second-place teams from each class compete for a chance to pitch at the Collider Cup.
